Optical Analysis

Our spectroscopy products drive bold progress by providing sensitivity, simple user tools and actionable information.

Additive Content

UV-Visible and FT-IR spectroscopy of polymers provides insights into the presence of desirable and undesirable additives. Deconvolution of the FT-IR data is greatly assisted by the Thermo Scientific* OMNIC* Specta multi-component analysis software.

Spectroscopy

The Optical Analysis of polymers includes studies of color, transparency and contaminations. UV-Visible and FT-IR spectroscopy very specifically interrogate these properties through transmission or reflection off coatings. Contaminations may be investigated using the OMNIC Specta multi-component search software.
