Stem Cell Lines
We offer a range of stem cells from mouse and human lines as well as kits to enable the production of induced pluripotent stem cells.
Our stem cell lines include a range of human somatic stem cells and proven germ-line competent mouse embryonic stem cell lines through our partnerships with Cellular Engineering Technologies and Primogenix. In addition to this, we provide a means to generate you own induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) via the use of our viPSC kit produced in collaboration with Aruna.
Mesenchymal stem cells represent an interesting and widely used stem cell type, possessing the ability to differentiate into a variety of cell types, including adipocytes, chondrocytes and osteocytes. We have human mesenchymal stem cells that were isolated from adipose tissue, bone marrow, cord blood, amniotic fluid, and Wharton’s Jelly. Other human stem cells include amniotic epithelial stem cells, cord blood stem cells, purified CD133+, and CD34+ stem cells.
Mouse embryonic stem cells used in biomedical research labs around the world to build animal models of human disease are available in from the two most commonly used strains: 129 and B6. These ESC lines have been derived and carefully maintained for their ability to go germline. These are proven lines, have normal karyotype, and have been pathogen tested.
