Thermal Analysis
Characterize the temperature-dependent material functions to understand the processability as well as long-term stability of your product.
Glass Transition
Via monitoring the temperature-dependence of the viscoelastic moduli of your material with the help of a Thermo Scientific* HAAKE* MARS rheometer, the glass transition temperature can be determined precisely by evaluating the peak in tan(d).
Thermal Stability
The broad temperature range accessible with the HAAKE MARS allows for the evaluation of the temperature-dependent viscoelastic properties of your materials. Polymer degradation, melting, crystallization and cross-linking will be reflected directly in the viscoelastic moduli.
Processing Limits
Simulate the production-relevant processes by means of laboratory mixers and extruders in order to investigate melting, cross-linking and degradation behavior, to determine the ideal processing conditions.
Diffusion and Fogging
Thermo Scientific* PC201-FTS and AC200-FTS fogging test systems are developed to perform material quality tests according to DIN 75201, ISO 6452/2000 and SAE J1756.
The term “fogging” primarily refers to the evaporation of the volatile components of soft PVC, textiles or leather that are used in interior fittings and trimmings of motor vehicles.
