OLED

Techniques in the characterization and understanding of polymer based electronics that form the basis of OLED development for displays and other technologies.

Organic LED (OLED) displays are an exciting development in microelectronic technology. These devices are based on mixed conductive polymer systems and run on lower power than displays based on traditional lighting and screen technologies. Significant challenges exist in the design and manufacturing of both the finished and production materials, which hinge on the interplay of sensitive chemistries and complex structures. The range of Thermo Scientific instruments allows researchers to reveal and improve the chemically induced electronic properties of these devices.
