Continuous Mixing and Extrusion

With Thermo Scientific* laboratory measuring mixers and extruders food is tested to simulate the production process; twin-screw extruders continuously mix from lab scale to pilot plant size.

Thermo Scientific mixers are used during batch mixing to examine process relevant data such as blending behavior, heat and shear stability under shear load. Single and modular twin-screw extruders are used for process simulation such as compounding and extrusion combined with Rheological measurements.

We work closely with our customers to provide the most user-friendly software for our torque rheometers.
