Pharmaceuticals & Personal Care Products (PPCPs)

Pharmaceuticals, personal care products and endocrine disruptors are an issue of increasing international attention due to the potential environmental impacts on drinking water.

Thermo Scientific LC-MS solutions are ideally suited for detecting PCPPs in surface and drinking waters. The Thermo Scientific EQuan system coupled to a Thermo Scientific TSQ Series triple stage quadrupole mass spectrometer is a turnkey system for the analysis of trace levels of the diverse group of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and personal care products. The EQuan system’s unique on-line sample enrichment technique significantly reduces analysis time -- from days to minutes. Its high injection volume (1-20mL) improves detection limits over conventional LC-MS/MS analysis.
