In 1967, HyClone Laboratories Inc. began providing best-in-class fetal bovine serum (FBS) and other serum products to Drug Discovery and BioProduction customers. Over the past 45 years, the HyClone product portfolio has been enhanced to include media, buffers & process liquids, and large-scale cell culture bags & single-use technologies, increasing its ability to meet cell culture and bioprocessing needs. When HyClone was acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2003, a new era in cell culture and bioprocessing began.
