Thermo Fisher Scientific Innovators Program Offers Free Antibodies for Sharing Data
ROCKFORD, Ill. (November 16, 2010) – Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, today announced the Thermo Scientific Pierce Innovators Program. The program encourages researchers to share their data generated using Thermo Scientific Pierce Antibodies with the rest of the scientific community in exchange for free antibodies.
"Our Innovators Program rewards customers for sharing their data and feedback on qualified antibodies,” said Carrie Clothier, product manager for the Pierce* Antibodies product line. "This is the most aggressive program of its kind in the industry and illustrates our commitment to antibody quality."
To participate in the Pierce Innovators Program, researchers should submit their data using Pierce qualified antibodies, plus all necessary controls. Data will be accepted for any of the following antibody applications: Western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunofluorescence (IF), fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay (ELISA), immunoprecipitation (IP) and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP).
