Donald Danforth Plant Science Center Selects Thermo Fisher Scientific as provider of Revolutionary Automated System

Thermo Scientific Laboratory Automation product line in concernt with the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, have developed a one-of-a-kind automation solution to assist in mapping plant genomes. Researchers will use the system to automate the mapping of plant genomes . By understanding the control of plant growth and response to stresses such as drought, flooding or cold, the lab aims to provide the necessary information to improve crops and meet the demands of a growing and changing population.

The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center is a not-for-profit research institute with a mission to improve the human condition through plant science. Scientists at the Danforth Center are engaged in research, which will contribute to feeding the hungry, improving human health, preserving and renewing the environment, and enhancing the St. Louis region and the State of Missouri as world centers for plant science.
