Accelerated Solvent Extraction Systems
Accelerated Solvent Extraction (ASE*) is a patented technique for the extraction of solid and semisolid sample matrices using common solvents at elevated temperatures and pressures. ASE systems are available in the entry-level ASE 150 system, and fully automated ASE 350.
The ASE 150 system is an entry-level system with a single extraction cell, for laboratories with modest throughput. The ASE 350 system is a sequential extraction system capable of automated extraction of up to 24 samples. Both systems feature chemically-inert pH-hardened Dionium* components that allow the extraction of acid- or base-pretreated samples.
ASE systems enable extractions for sample sizes 1–100 g in minutes, dramatic solvent reduction, handles acidic and alkaline matrices, a wide range of applications, and are approved for use by the U.S. EPA and CLP Program.
