Our recombinant protein expression reagents include the ground-breaking Pierce* Human In Vitro Protein Expression System for expressing proteins from DNA or mRNA templates in a cell-free solution containing essential components of the cellular translational machinery. Unlike traditional bacterial or insect cell systems, our reagents enable you to manufacture any human protein complete with native human post-translational modifications such as functional glycosylation and phosphorylation; and because the procedure is done in vitro (i.e., does not use living cells), even toxic or non-human proteins can be expressed.
