Thermo Scientific* RapidStak Microplate Stacker is an entry level laboratory automation product that can deliver microplates to one or two instruments. It provides walkaway time and relief from monotonous tasks. It easily fits on a wide variety of lab benches.
Fast and reliable, the RapidStak features dual-instrument loading for ultimate versatility. Plates can be quickly delivered and processed using two instruments simultaneously. It can be set up in minutes to most Thermo Scientific and third party instruments, even in the field. RapidStak is the perfect partner for the Multidrop line of bulk reagent dispensers or Alps line of automated sealers.

  • High speed is made possible via a unique buffer nest technology that allows for parallel processing of stacking and plate loading
  • Unique choreography and bidirectional telescoping arm design allows it to deliver plates to the instrument while performing the next stack/destack operation simultaneously

  • No PC required for automation of Thermo Scientific Multidrop, Wellwash AC or Thermo Scientific ABgene Sealer
  • No instrument modifications or additional options needed
  • Does not interfere with the stand-alone use of the instruments

Flexible, Expandable

  • Accommodates 6 to 22mm SBS conforming plates
  • Standard model holds two Staks for a capacity of 50 plates (15mm size; one stack remains empy); can be upgraded to RapidStak 2x
  • RapidStak 2x holds four Staks handling up to 150 plates for even greater walkaway time
  • 30- and 50-plate Staks are easily interchangeable and can be used with all RapidStak models

  • Scheduling software transforms any RapidStak into a complete, optimized benchtop assay system
  • Lets you program the stacker to perform almost any plate-loading application
