RM 300 EC / RM 310 EC Coating Weight Gauge

Thermo Scientific* RM 300 EC/RM 310 EC coating weight gauges are installed after the cooling tower on galvanizing lines in the COLD position.

These systems use reliable X-ray fluorescence based sensors for online cross-profile coating weight measurement of nearly every type of metals coated product. They can be paired with the RM 300 EH / RM 310 EH "hot" position gauges and with the RM 400 EZ coating weight autocontrol system to build one comprehensive quality control system.

These gauges provide precise, fast, non-contact coating weight cross profile measurements of metal coatings.

Extendable, ethernet-based system architecture, powerful electronics
Central control of the gauges via one operator station
System operation via touch control screen or keyboard
Two measuring channels for top and bottom side coating weight of the strip
O-frame scanners or single beam scanners (for installation at bridle rolls) can be supplied
X-ray fluorescence measuring heads in compact design
Isotope (gamma) or X-ray sources available
Ethernet based or serial interface based communication protocols with customized data content
