The Thermo Scientific* ECS module brings Total Chlorine/Total Sulfur analysis capabilities to existing TN 3000, TS 3000 or TNTS 3000 owners to enable combined TN/TX, TS/TX or TN/TS/TX analysis.
The Thermo Scientific ECS module provides the capability to detect trace to percent levels of total chlorine/total sulfur in petroleum products by microcoulometric titration. Providing exceptional recovery of samples, this module gives absolute results in minutes and requires no calibration.

The Thermo Scientific ECS module is a field upgradeable Total Chlorine/Total Sulfur module utilizing microcoulometric titration technology. It is designed as an add on module for customers who currently own a TN 3000, TNTS 3000 or TS 3000 to enable the analysis of trace to percent levels of chlorine/sulfur in petroleum products. The module is fully ASTM compliant and has identical performance characteristics to the dedicated ECS 3000 analyzer.

The Thermo Scientific ECS 3000 Total Chlorine/Total Sulfur module can be configured to analyze either chlorine or sulfur by microcoulometric titration:

  • High productivity reduces the cost per analysis
  • High stability, sensitivity and reliability are ensured by temperature-controlling the titration cell
  • Maximum versatility thanks to gas and liquid autosamplers
  • Easily configured with an existing 3000 series instrument for unrivalled flexibility
