CB Omni Flex*

The Thermo Scientific* CB Omni Flex online elemental cement analyzer offers the added flexibility of using either Cf-252 or a neutron generator as an activation source to optimize cost, performance, reliability or safety.
Given the difficulty in predicting the long-term costs, reliability and availability of the different neutron source options, the flex feature gives the crossbelt analyzer owner unrivaled flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and performance requirements.
 
 
 
 
 
The CB Omni Flex analyzer determines in real time the elemental composition of bulk materials being transported on a conveyor belt.

The CB Omni Flex analyzer incorporates a unique provision to accommodate either the spontaneously fissioning isotope californium-252 (Cf-252) or an electronic neutron generator as a source of neutrons. The customer chooses which excitation source he wishes to use at the time of purchase, and then during the entire life of product, he can elect to change from one neutron source to another for a modest cost.
