Installed Depth from Back of Unit to Wall

  • For the purpose of room planning, backs of fixed-height units can be flush to walls
  • Elevating units require approximately 1 in. (2.54cm) clearance between the back of the unit and wall to accommodate height adjustment

Required Accessories: Electrical Specifications:

  • Units are hardwired to facility power
  • 110-120V models draw 20 amps and require a separate 15 amp circuit for one hospital-grade, duplex ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) receptacle
  • 220-240V models draw 20 amps including up to 7 amps by the point-of-use receptacle with facility-supplied residual current device (RCD) protection required
  • Specific receptacle option must be selected at time of order (see table)

Plumbing Specifications:

  • 3/4 in. (1.9cm) hot and cold water supply lines with shutoff valves and 11/2 in. (3.8cm) drain line must be supplied
  • 1/2 in. (1.3cm ) industrial grade flexible hoses with 3/4 in. (1.9cm) female hose fittings are supplied for connection to water supply lines
  • 11/2 in. (3.8cm) I.D. reinforced flexible hose is provided for connection to facility drain line

Remote Exhaust

If your facility can supply an exhaust duct and remote blower system that provides an airflow of 550 to 600cfm (0.260 to 0.283 cu. m/s), a ducted unit will best suit your needs. (Facility duct and remote blower by others; no filters.)

Validated Exhaust Specifications for Remote Exhaust

  • Recommended exhaust airflow volume: 550 - 600cfm (0.260 to 0.283 cu. m/s)
  • Pressure loss through unit with standard downdraft: 0.15 - 0.18 in.w.g. (0.37 - 0.45mb)
  • Pressure loss through unit with optional backdraft: 0.27-0.33 in. w.g. (0.67 - 0.82mb)
  • Average capture velocity with downdraft at 3 in. above work surface: 72-78fpm (0.366 - 0.396m/s)
  • Average capture velocity with backdraft at back of work surface: 156-170fpm (0.792-0.864m/s)
  • Average capture velocity with backdraft at front of work surface: 59 - 64fpm (0.300 - 0.325m/s)

Certifications: UL/cUL (110-120V units only); CE (220-240V units only)
