MSA Multi-Stream XRF Elemental Slurry Analyzer

Thermo Scientific* MSA Multi-Stream Analyzer (MSA) provides accurate, cost-effective elemental analysis of up to 12 slurry streams.
The Thermo Scientific MSA has proven to provide reliable and accurate analysis of multiple slurry streams through its XRF-based multi-element probe. Each stream is kept in a separate analysis zone ensuring no cross-contamination. With no multiplexer required, the MSA has the lowest head loss of any similar product on the market, saving elevation in the plant which can lead to significant savings in engineering and installation. The information provided by the MSA allows plant operators to follow process trends in real time and make manual or automated changes to optimize the process.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Measures 3 to 12 slurry streams
  • XRF multi-element probe measures up to 20 elements and % solids
  • Metallurgical accounting is possible when used with the Thermo Scientific SamStat-30C
  • Cross-cut sampler produces sapmles for calibration and process control
  • Digital signal processing
  • Fast assay updates
  • Probe can be programmed to analyze streams in a predefined pattern
  • Can handle the full flow of some process streams
  • Each stream is kept in its own analysis zone, ensuring no contamination
  • No multiplexer or de-multiplexer required, saving head space in the plant
  • Lowest hydraulic head loss of any multi-stream analyser on the market
Options

  • 3 to 12 Streams
  • Measuring more than 12 streams results in extended analysis time and is not recommended
