Thermo Scientific* Capitol Vial single-specimen foil-top collection kits are used for collection, storage and transport of single-specimen samples.
The collection kit is manufactured utilizing custom automated assembly process to feature unparalleled consistency in terms of reproducible quality and insures the collection site that the product has never been opened or tampered with prior to collection.

Automated equipment places temperature strips on the collection cups, inserts absorbent pads into dual-pouch specimen bags, and loads these components and transport vials into the collection cup. Foil-top seal is heat-transferred to the collection cup rim, resulting in a Class 10,000 sterile product.

  • Easy-to-use—simply peel away the foil-top lid, remove the components and provide donor with the collection cup
  • After specimen is collected, pour 30mL of urine into the transport vial and close the hinged lid until it snaps
  • Place vial in front pocket of specimen bag and completed requisition in the rear pocket
  • Remove the blue release liner on the bag and fold flap over the pockets to seal
