Wear Testing Fluid for Artificial Joints is designed to mimic human synovial fluid in wear testing of artificial joints. It is provided as a complete, ready-to-use solution and meets the requirements established under ASTMF 1715-00 and ISO 14242 guidelines. There is no accepted formula for such testing solutions and

many laboratories have their own formulations. This creates many challenges when comparing results between testing laboratories and artificial joint manufacturers. Our formulations were designed to provide an accepted, uniform, and convenient product. It is filtered through a 0.2µm filtration system to reduce bioburden, and does not contain any preservatives or antimicrobia agent, but does contain EDTA.

  • Appearance: Clear, straw colored liquid
