The Flare system is an adaptation of the highly successful SOLA II analyzer which has a worldwide installation base. It offers the unique advantage of two analyzers in a single cabinet and works around the clock to continuously monitor via a 30-second injection period to provide accurate measurement of flare feed sulfur content.

Based on pulsed ultraviolet fluorescence (PUVF) technology which is known as the most reliable analytical method, the SOLA II Flare offers many advantages including:

  • Two independent calibration ranges that allow for two widely varying independent measuring ranges
  • Dual PMT power supplies that enable users to set the PUVF sensitivity
  • Dual sample injection valves for precise control of the sample size being injected into the system and ultimately the PUVF detector
  • Use of less carrier and calibration gases
  • Detector: Pulsed UV Fluorescence (PUVF) with Pyrolyzer for Total Sulfur Measurement
  • Measuring Range: 10ppm to 95% S by volume
  • Repeatability: ±1% of full scale
  • Response Time: Semi-continuous, outputs updated every 1 second, 3 to 5 minutes to 90% of new value
