Thermo Scientific* Cytomat* 2 C4xx-LIN series of incubators provide stable temperature and humidity conditions for optimal assay storage for 42 standard microplates.
Engineered to provide even temperature distribution and rapid heating, the Cytomat 2 C4xx-LIN series of incubators provide stable, homogeneous temperature and humidity conditions for optimal assay storage. Unsurpassed temperature uniformity and stability ensure that your processes can be fully reproduced, providing you with the same high quality results every time. With an installation distance of two meters, the external heating and cooling unit is designed to allow the user to create a customized working space for easy system integration into any automated assay system. The Cytomat 2 C425-LIN has a temperature range of 4° C to 25° C with a humidity level of up to more than 95% rH, while the C450-LIN has the same humidity level, a temperature range of 4° C to 50° C and offers CO2 control. If you require even higher temperature for your assay, the Cytomat 2 470-LIN offers a maximum temperature of 70° C with a humidity level of 93% rH and CO2 control.

  • A single point of integration creates an extremely robot-friendly design, as the robot only needs to be taught one position for plate retrieval
  • The Plate Shuttle* system and access door handle all standard microplate formats including deep-well plates
  • A built in barcode reader can scan barcodes at any plate position inside the incubator,  minimizing plate movement and providing superior sample and plate tracking
  • The small access door and Thermo Scientific Plate Shuttle system allow microplates to enter and exit the unit in seconds, significantly minimizing disruption to the controlled environment and virtually eliminating recovery times
  • Cytomat 2 C425-LIN has a temperature range of 4°C to 25°C with a humidity level of max. 90% rH, constant
  • Cytomat 2 C450-LIN has a temperature range of 4°C to 50°C with a humidity level of max. 95% rH, constant and offers CO2 control
