New Software Control for the UltiMate 3000 UHPLC+ Chromatographic System Featuring Atlas CDS

Now more capabilities, new possibilities with the addition of the Dionex UltiMate* 3000 ultra high-speed liquid (UHPLC+) chromatographic instrument control for the Thermo Scientific* Atlas* CDS platform, offering your business enterprise chromatographic instrument control, digital data acquisition, chromatography data processing and reporting.

The award-winning Atlas Chromatography Data System (CDS) orchestrates the laboratory workflow and chromatographic instruments to provide business knowledge for chromatographers. Atlas CDS incorporates the diverse CDS expertise of the Thermo Fisher business, and is prevalent across global pharmaceutical and chemical companies that require a single centralized client/server CDS solution. Atlas CDS enables multi-site workflow and data sharing benefits utilizing the Atlas Data Miner search engine, while reducing the cost of maintenance, training and validation.

A new Atlas CDS Extension Kit, together with the Chromeleon Instrument SDK, integrates full instrument control and chromatography data handling for the complete range of UltiMate 3000 UHPLC+ modules. This integration of Dionex capabilities is designed to provide the chromatographer with the possibilities of rapid data analysis, processing and reporting of Atlas CDS, with the ultra high-speed liquid chromatography separations of the UltiMate 3000 UHPLC+.

The UltiMate 3000 UHPLC+ focused product line delivers HPLC and UHPLC capabilities on a single system platform. Hence, laboratories of all sizes can experience the benefits of UHPLC, which include faster analyses, reduced running costs and environmental impact, and the resolution of more analytes. The platform comprises Standard Systems working up to 9,000 psi pressure combined with 10 mL/min flow rate and a maximum detector data rate of 100 Hz. The cutting edge Rapid Separation LC (RSLC) product line goes up to 15,000 psi pressure and 8 mL/min flow as well as a maximum detector data rate of 200 Hz. Both Standard and RSLC feature a market leading range of pump variants and detection technologies including the unique x2 Dual LC Systems to support advanced solutions for increased throughput and automation workflows with ease.

Atlas CDS software control for the Dionex UltiMate 3000 UHPLC+ system is available immediately in version 8.2.3. In addition, Atlas CDS provides seamless integration of laboratory CDS results with enterprise-wide laboratory information management systems (LIMS), including the full range of Thermo Scientific LIMS: SampleManager LIMS, the flagship offering for industrial applications; Watson LIMS, the industry standard for bioanalytical laboratories and CROs; Galileo LIMS, which enables high-throughput compound screening for in vitro ADME screening; Nautilus LIMS, for dynamic environments requiring a flexible solution that can be easily modified as workflows change, such as contract research organizations; Darwin LIMS, for pharmaceutical manufacturing R&D and QA/QC laboratories; and the award-winning GRAMS spectroscopy software suite.
