Improving the Accuracy of Near-infrared Measurements Using Spectral Corrections

RESULT software's spectral corrections can improve the accuracy of NIR methods.

Thermo Fisher Scientific has become the first near-infrared instrument vendor to offer automatic spectral corrections to factor out sample effects like those from serum vials or Petri dishes. In addition, one can use backgrounds not only from different beampaths on the same instrument, but different beampaths from different instruments and ratio them against a specific sample. These innovative tools allow RESULT users the latitude to improve the accuracy of already-robust methods.
